Angelica

Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Panganiban, who has been called "the modern queen of drama" by several media sources in the Philippines she is among the most well-known and versatile actors. In the end, she placed second and was the youngest finalist on the competition. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, became extremely sick in 2012 as a result of an infection caused by strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO which is a lifesaving treatment. She suffered from multiple organ dysfunction, including the failure of her kidneys. Her new normal was peritoneal and then hemodialysis. She finally returned home after an eighteen-day stay in the hospital at a point when she was near death to the lengthy road to health. Her life had been forever changed. After one year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready to undergo the biggest surgery of her life-her kidney transplant. It was her mother who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica, along with her mom underwent successful kidney transplantation on September 13th 2013 in two incredible hospitals situated right next to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale is pursuing her stardom dreams ever since.
